FLORENCE, S.C. - Francis Marion scored twice in a four minute span in the second half to push past the University of North Georgia men's soccer team Tuesday afternoon, 2-1.
Donovan Odier put North Georgia on the board in the ninth minute when
Santiago Gimenez took the ball across the top of the box and found Odier for a five yard tap in. UNG held the 1-0 lead throughout the entirety of the first half and into the second.
The Patriots got on the board in the 65th minute as Oier Bernaola headed home the equalizer off a free kick. Four minutes later, Eduardo Meisel scored his first goal of the season off a corner kick that served as the game winner.
NOTES
- Odier's goal was his second goal of the season, and Gimenez's assist was his second of the year as well.

Rafael Callegari made five saves in between the posts.
- FMU turned up the heat in the second half, firing 10 shots after just four in the first 45 minutes.
