MILTON, Ga. - On a day where no team shot under par, the University of North Georgia men's golf team climbed up to a tie for seventh place in the final round of the Southern Tide Intercollegiate at Atlanta National Golf Club.
North Georgia finished tied with Lincoln Memorial and West Florida in the seventh spot, 23 shots off the pace of the champion Barry Buccaneers. Limestone finished one shot back of the team title, followed by Carson-Newman, USC Aiken and Arkansas Tech.
Grant Crowell was the low Nighthawk in the final 18 holes, shooting 2-over 74 in the final round to rise up the leaderboard to a tie for 19th.
Stephen Kinsel earned his second top 10 of the year as he tied for 10th at 1-over 217 for the 54-hole tournament.
