PENSACOLA, Fla. – The No. 12 University of North Georgia (UNG) men's golf team closed play with a 4-over 292 in the final round of the Argonaut Invitational on Tuesday to finish eighth overall.

Host West Florida captured the team title, while Georgia Southwestern's Sacha Corlouer earned the individual title.

Hunter Smith paced the Nighthawks, firing an even-par 72 in the final round to finish at 6-under for the tournament, finishing ninth individually.

Colby Bennett and Garrett Horton each posted rounds of 1-over 73, while Rhett Smith added a 2-over 74. Grant Langford and Jack Rowe, competing as an individual, both carded 3-over 75s to round out North Georgia's efforts.

The Nighthawks return to action April 19-21 at the Peach Belt Conference Championship in St. Augustine, Florida.
