DAHLONEGA - The No. 22 University of North Georgia women's soccer team fell for the first time in five weeks as Flagler took a 1-0 decision Saturday afternoon at the UNG Soccer Complex at Lynn Cottrell Park.
After a scoreless first half, Flagler struck in the 54th minute when Sara Carr sent a deep pass into the 18, finding Andrea Fernandez for the game's lone goal. North Georgia had opportunities to score, but the Flagler defense did enough to preserve the shutout.
