DAHLONEGA - Two second half goals were the difference as the University of North Georgia men's soccer team fell to Lee, 2-0, Tuesday night at the UNG Soccer Complex.
Lee struck early in the second half off a set piece in the 49th minute by forcing an own goal as the ball rolled through the six-yard box. With North Georgia pressing for an equalizer, the Flames doubled their lead in the 83rd minute on a Tristan Lyle goal that went inside the right post from just outside the 18.
NOTES
- North Georgia was held to just seven shots in the game while giving up 20.
- Lee has now gone 380 minutes this season without giving up a goal. The Flames have outscored their opponents 4-0 this season.
