DAHLONEGA - The University of North Georgia men's soccer team fell to Lander Saturday afternoon, 2-0, at the UNG Soccer Complex.
After a scoreless first half, Lander broke through in the 64th minute with a Max Bolton goal off a rebounded shot, giving the Bearcats a 1-0 lead. With North Georgia pushing for an equalizer late, LU doubled the lead in the 89th minute as Bolton crossed a ball in to Robbie Young, who finished the shot to bring the match to its final score.
NOTES
- Lander outshot UNG in the match, 19-9, including 11-2 in the second half.
