RALEIGH, N.C. - Kimberlee Nettles was the fourth-best shooter in the event as the No. 17 University of North Georgia rifle team fell to No. 15 North Carolina State Sunday.
The Wolfpack shot an aggregate total of 4640 compared to 4565 for UNG. Nettles led the Nighthawks in both disciplines, finishing third overall in smallbore with a 574. Her 580 in air rifle added up to an aggregate 1154.
Tobin Sanctuary was the second Nighthawk on the aggregate leaderboard, earning a top five finish in smallbore that led to a sixth place aggregate score.
The Nighthawks will host their first event of the season on Saturday as they welcome Georgia Southern and UAB to Dahlonega.
