GREENWOOD, S.C. - Taylor Malasek scored in the first half, but Lander found two goals in the second half to earn a win over the No. 19 University of North Georgia women's soccer team, 2-1, Saturday.
Malasek found her goal in the 31st minute and the first half closed with the Nighthawks on top, but LU's Haleigh Bollig equalized in the 58th minute. Lander scored the game-winner in the 66th minute, scoring off a long distance shot from Brianna Taylor.
NOTES
- The Nighthawks were outshot in the contest, 12-7, including 7-2 in shots on goal.

- With the win, Lander evens the all-time series, 8-8.
