DAHLONEGA - A 48th minute goal by Alvaro Zamora was the difference as the University of North Georgia men's soccer team fell to No. 20 Francis Marion, 1-0, Saturday afternoon at the UNG Soccer Complex.
After a scoreless first half that saw FMU on the front foot, the Patriots finally broke through after a save from
Conner Domaleski, putting the rebound home for the eventual game-winner.
NOTES
- Francis Marion took 12 corner kicks, nine in the first half. UNG had eight, seven in the second half after the goal.
- North Georgia took five shots in the match and, while only one was on frame, two hit or went inches over the crossbar.
