DAHLONEGA - Taylor Malasek earned another brace as the No. 19 University of North Georgia women's soccer team won its sixth straight match by defeating Anderson, 3-0, Wednesday night.
Malasek scored her first goal of the night off a cross from
Rosie Embley in the 18th minute, heading the ball in from close range to put the Nighthawks up, 1-0.
UNG piled on the final two goals late in the first half, the first coming off a penalty kick that Malasek converted to double the Nighthawk lead in the 41st minute. Two minutes later,
Dani Shartouny took a pass from
Abbie Crane and put it home to bring the match to its final score.
NOTES
- UNG has now completed eight clean sheets this season, allowing just four goals across 11 matches.
- North Georgia fired 31 shots in the game, compared to just 16 for Anderson. The Nighthawk defense held AU to just five shots after halftime.

Morgan Ramby made six saves in the contest, the second most in a single game this season for the redshirt sophomore.
