DAHLONEGA - After 110 minutes of play in the 2017 home opener, the University of North Georgia women's soccer team fought to a 0-0 draw against Florida Tech Sunday afternoon at the UNG Soccer Complex.
"With our 22 opportunities toward goal, we would have loved to have gotten a goal," said head women's soccer coach
Chris Adams. "From Wednesday's game at West Georgia to now, however, there were a lot of positives and growth that we saw and can continue to build upon."
Both teams had many opportunities to score, but both goalkeepers made crucial saves throughout the contest. UNG goalkeeper
Hannah Goudy had seven saves, including two in the final 10 minutes of the contest. FIT's Karlyn Prisco had nine saves for the Panthers.
