SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 36 University of North Georgia women's tennis team fell 8-1 in its regular season finale to fourth-ranked Armstrong State on Saturday afternoon at the Armstrong Tennis Complex.

Felicia Baratta secured the Nighthawks' lone point with a 6-1, 6-2, 1-0 (10-3) win over No. 17 Tatjana Stoll in the second singles line.
The Pirates wrap up the regular season with a 20-3 overall record and an 11-1 mark in the Peach Belt Conference, while North Georgia falls to 19-5 overall and 8-4 in the PBC.
North Georgia will be the No. 4 seed in the upcoming 2017 Peach Belt Conference Championships, which take place from April 21-23 at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Tennis Center in Florence, S.C. Full seedings and the tournament schedule will be released by the Peach Belt office later this weekend.
