JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. — The No. 36 University of North Georgia women's tennis team earned its 18
th victory of the season on Wednesday afternoon with a 7-2 non-conference road win at Carson-Newman at C-N's Buddy Catlett Tennis Complex.
The Nighthawks move to 18-4 overall on the year and improve on the new program record for single season victories. The Eagles, winners of four of their last five matches heading into today's contest, falls back to an even 8-8 overall.
North Georgia returns to the courts on Friday, Apr. 14 with its final non-conference challenge of the season when the Nighthawks host King at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park. First serves are at 2:00 p.m. and the program's two seniors,
Karina Gurgenyan and
Kathrin Waidner, will be honored in a pre-match ceremony.
