JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. — The No. 13 University of North Georgia men's tennis team defeated Carson-Newman, 7-2, on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action at C-N's Buddy Catlett Tennis Complex.
The Nighthawks improve to 17-2 on the season while Carson-Newman falls to 7-9. North Georgia's win snapped a three-match winning streak for the Eagles.
North Georgia returns to the courts on Friday, Apr. 14 with its final non-conference challenge of the season when the Nighthawks host King at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park. First serves are at 2:00 p.m. and the program's two seniors,
Lukas Moritzen and
Alexander Reinauer, will be honored in a pre-match ceremony.
