DAHLONEGA, Ga. — The University of North Georgia men's tennis team eased to a 7-2 Peach Belt Conference win over Augusta on Wednesday afternoon at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park.
The Nighthawks improve to 15-2 overall and 6-2 in conference action, while Augusta falls to 7-9, 1-8 PBC.
Niklas Zielen, ranked No. 31 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division II singles poll, upended No. 22 Patrick Oliveira in a third set tiebreaker to highlight the action.
North Georgia returns to action on Friday, Apr. 7 with a conference road trip to No. 4 Armstrong State.
