ORLANDO – The No. 34 University of North Georgia women's tennis team came up on the short end of an 8-1 decision for the second consecutive match as the Nighthawks fell to Auburn-Montgomery on Tuesday afternoon at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona just outside Orlando.
The lone UNG point came in the top doubles line were
Kathrin Waidner and
Felicia Baratta posted an 8-4 victory. The win improves the tandem to 8-3 overall on the season.
UNG falls to 9-3 with the non-conference loss while AUM improves to 9-2 on the season.
North Georgia returns to action tomorrow (Mar. 15) against Missouri Western State tomorrow (Mar. 15) at 3:00 p.m.
