GAINESVILLE, Ga. – The No. 34 University of North Georgia women's tennis team got the spring portion of its schedule off on a good note by breezing past Brenau, 9-0, on Sunday afternoon at the Lessie Smithgall Tennis Center.
North Georgia did not drop a point to the host Tigers (0-2) and won all competed singles matches in straight sets.
The Nighthawks (2-0) return to action on with a road trip to face Erskine on Thursday, Feb. 9 with first serves slated for 2:00 p.m. in Due West, S.C.
