Nighthawk Tennis Teams Finish Tennessee Road Trip with Identical 9-0 Wins

BRISTOL, Tenn. | The University of North Georgia tennis teams finished off their two-match road trip through Tennessee with two 9-0 shutout victories of King University Tuesday afternoon at the King University Tennis Complex.
 
The No. 22 North Georgia men are now 12-6 overall, while the Tornado men are now 9-9.
 
The No. 22 Nighthawk men got off to a hot start with three wins in doubles, highlighted by an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles by Alexander Reinauer and Joe Klokow.
 
Matheus Pineda won the only three-set match at No. 6 singles, while Hugues Renald won a second-set tiebreaker to clinch his point at No. 3 singles.
 
On the women's side, Lexa Rae Loden won all 12 games in her match at No. 6 singles. North Georgia only lost 12 games total in the six singles matches.
 
In doubles, Karina Gurgenyan and Sandra Ungricht won a very competitive 8-6 decision at No. 1 doubles.
 
North Georgia is now 13-6 in 2016, while King falls to 5-12.
