Rain Moves Semifinal Day To Turf At Oklahoma Christian University

North Georgia to face Shorter at 3:00 CDT on OCU campus

OKLAHOMA CITY | Heavy rains in the Oklahoma City area have forced the semifinal round of the 2015 NCAA Division II Softball Championship to be relocated to the turf playing surface at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza on the campus of Oklahoma Christian University.  No. 6 North Georgia will now face No. 24 Shorter at 3:00 p.m. CDT on the campus of OCU.

UNG needs to defeat Shorter twice today to advance to Monday's national championship game.  The time of the second game, if necessary, will be played later tonight at a time to be announced.

Oklahoma Christian's state-of-the-art turf facility is located in Edmond, Okla., just about a 20 minute drive from the team hotel in downtown Oklahoma City.

Nighthawk fans should stay connected to all the action at tournament central on UNGAthletics.com and on all the UNG Athletics social media accounts.
