WOODSTOCK, Ga. | The University of North Georgia women's tennis team extended its program-best winning streak to seven matches with an 8-1 victory over Carson-Newman on Wednesday afternoon at the Eagle Watch Tennis Center.  The 21^st-ranked UNG men also posted a dominant 9-0 victory over the Eagles in the teams' final non-conference contest of the year.

The UNG men were a perfect 8-0 in non-conference matches this season while the women won six of eight matches outside the Peach Belt Conference.

Both teams will step back into PBC action on Saturday (Apr. 11) when they host Francis Marion at 10:00 a.m. at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park.  Each team will honor its two seniors in a pre-match ceremony beginning around 9:45 a.m.
