MONTEVALLO, Ala. | Montevallo scored three goals in the span of 10 minutes in the first half, and eventually posted a 4-0 Peach Belt Conference win over the University of North Georgia men's soccer team on Wednesday evening at UM's Varsity Field.

Goals in the 27^th, 28^th and 37^th minutes pushed the host Falcons out to an early lead. 

North Georgia (1-8-1, 0-3-0) held a slight 14-13 edge in shots taken, but the Falcons took seven of the game's 10 corner kicks. 

The win improves Montevallo to 2-6-0, 1-3-0 PBC.

NOTES
- Ivan Acimovic posted a team-high five shots for North Georgia.
 
- Tonight's meeting was the 11th career meeting between the two schools with the Falcons holding an 1-8-2 all-time edge.
