MONTEVALLO, Ala. | Montevallo scored three goals in the span of 10 minutes in the first half, and eventually posted a 4-0 Peach Belt Conference win over the University of North Georgia men's soccer team on Wednesday evening at UM's Varsity Field.
Goals in the 27
th, 28
th and 37
th minutes pushed the host Falcons out to an early lead.
North Georgia (1-8-1, 0-3-0) held a slight 14-13 edge in shots taken, but the Falcons took seven of the game's 10 corner kicks.
The win improves Montevallo to 2-6-0, 1-3-0 PBC.
NOTES-
Ivan Acimovic posted a team-high five shots for North Georgia.
- Tonight's meeting was the 11th career meeting between the two schools with the Falcons holding an 1-8-2 all-time edge.
