DAHLONEGA | The University of North Georgia men's and women's tennis teams opened the season with a pair of decisive victories over Emmanuel on Thursday afternoon at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park.  The Nighthawk women blanked the Lions, 9-0, while the UNG men posted an 8-1 victory.

The contest was the lone event of the fall portion of the season.  The season is scheduled to resume on January 31 when both teams play host to Brevard.
