Kent Norsworthy has announced a pair of 2015 early signings to the Nighthawk women's tennis program. Lexa Loden of Camden County and Emma Etelalahti of North Gwinnett have committed to play for the veteran head coach.
"We are very excited to have Lexa and Emma become a part of the Nighthawk tennis family," stated Norsworthy. "They both are coming in with a lot of experience and potential which will translate well into college tennis."
Loden is a two-sport standout at Camden County where she excels in tennis and volleyball. She is ranked 568
th nationally and 46
th in Georgia. Last season, she compiled a 20-4 overall singles record while leading Camden County to the region championship. As a sophomore, she led the Wildcats to the 6A Final Four.
Etelalahti preps at nearby North Gwinnett. She is ranked 476
th nationally and 38
th in Georgia. Last season, she was selected Gwinnett Daily Post 1
st team All-County in doubles with teammate Vanessa Eusebio after posting an 18-1 doubles mark. She was also 8-2 in singles for the Bulldogs.
The duo will join the Nighthawks for the 2015-16 season.
