PEMBROKE, North Carolina | The University of North Georgia men's soccer team was not able to recover from a quick second half goal Saturday evening falling, 1-0, to UNC Pembroke at Varsity Grounds. The Nighthawks slide to 3-9-1 on the season with a 2-4-0 mark in Peach Belt action.

After a scoreless first half it was Sam Miles getting the Braves on the board, heading in a Kevin Vigebo cross from the other side of the box in the 55th minute.

UNG had four total saves on the night including three from
Victor Ohlin, who is now 2-8-1 on goal for the season.

The Nighthawks continue their four-game road swing stepping out of conference play for the final time in 2014 this Wednesday, traveling to Misenheimer, North Carolina to take on Pfeiffer. Kickoff for the contest is set for 4 p.m.
