How Drew got to UNG
Kyleigh Drew joined the Nighthawks ahead of the 2025 season as a senior transfer from Georgia Southern (GSU). Drew played for three consecutive seasons at the NCAA Division I level with the Eagles. Drew sat out the 2021 season at GSU as a medical redshirt after tearing her ACL during her senior day performance at Chestatee High School. She bounced back with 13 games played and three starts as she recorded one assist in her first collegiate season in 2022. Drew played 42 games in an Eagles uniform, starting 17 of them. She tallied a career-high three goals in her final season in 2024. Drew also excelled in the classroom as a two-time Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll member.
