How Lukovic got to UNG
Vukasin Lukovic, a native of Starcevo, Serbia, joined his third school in three years with UNG in 2024. The midfielder most recently traveled from Arizona Western College of the NJCAA. Lukovic played in 17 games with the Matadors in 2023, recording an assist against GateWay Communicty College. Prior to AWC, Lukovic was a standout freshman at LSU Shreveport which competes at the NAIA level. Lukovic netted a pair of goals and an assist in the 20 games he played in as a freshman. With Lukovic, the Pilots won the Red River Athletic Conference Regular Season and Tournament Titles as Lukovic was named RRAC Freshman of the Year and All-Freshman Team.
