2010 (Freshman): Started in 17 of the 18 games on the season as a true freshman…Logged a total of 1,596 minutes of play as he recorded four shots…Anchored a defense that had seven shutouts on the season and eight overtime contests.

High School: Played under head coach Ross Walker at Forsyth Central High School…Named to Forsyth All-County team in 2009…Awarded Most Valuable Defender in 2009.

Personal: Born April 4, 1992…Son of William and Sharon Samples…Has two siblings, Noel and Zane…Majoring in Biology, Pre-med.
