How Barrier got to UNG
Barrier joined the Nighthawks in 2024 after having spent the last season with the University of North Florida at the Division I level. Barrier, despite being a rookie, was one of only two freshman to see the field in 2023 for the Ospreys. Of the 6 games he played, Barrier started in two of them. He recorded his first career assist against Winthrop in only his second game played. Barrier chose to transfer to UNG to get closer to Atlanta and because he was intrigued by head coach Anel Lilic's plans for the future of the program.
