How Oliveira Pais got to UNG
Rafael Oliveira Pais joins UNG after competing at the NAIA level over the last four years with Reinhardt University in Waleska, Ga. With the Eagles, Oliveira Pais netted a total of 21 goals while adding 22 assists in his four years there. The midfielder played in over 60 games and totaled 64 points in that span. After the 2023-24 season in which Oliveira Pais recorded seven goals (team best) and two assists, he was named to the Appalachian Athletic Conference as a First Team Midfielder. He also earned AAC All-Conference First Team acclaim in the 2021 and 2023 season. During Oliveira Pais' time with them, the Eagles finished fourth or better in the 14-team AAC three times. He led his team in assists in three straight seasons: 2020 (six), 2021 (five) and 2022 (nine). Oliveira Pais was also named to the 2023 AAC All-Scholar Team.
