How Jensen got to UNG
Mikey Jensen came to UNG as a junior transfer from Converse University in 2024. Jensen spent his first two collegiate season with the Valkyries, starting 19 of the 34 games he participated in. During Jensen's time at Converse, the Valkyries went 25-5-9 which included a pair of Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship in 2022 and regular season and tournament titles in 2023. Jensen's duties were primarily in the defensive midfield for Converse. He cited UNG's outstanding soccer and business programs as the main reasons for his transfer.
