Biography

How Scoppa got to UNG
The University of North Georgia serves as the third school of Maximo Scoppa's collegiate career. The junior transfer came to UNG in 2024 most recently from Salt Lake Community College, an NJCAA school in Utah. With the Bruins, Scoppa played in five contests in 2023, scoring a goal in the lone game he started. Prior to SLCC, Scoppa attended Division I Stetston University in DeLand, Fla. The Argentinian saw the pitch twice in his freshman season with the Hatters. Scoppa said a friend currently on the Nighthawks brought UNG to his attention and helped him get here.
