How Kosut got to UNG
in 2024, Domink Kosut made the short trip from his hometown of Suwanee, Ga. up to Dahlonega to begin his collegiate career with the Nighthawks. The Peachtree Ridge High School graduate scored 12 goals in 2023 as a senior with the Lions. He was named both a 2024 Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) 7A All-State Second Team member and a Georgia High School Soccer 7A All-State Honorable Mention. Kosut kept stacking the accolades in 2024 with a First Team All-County selection for Gwinnett County. That honor came on top of United Soccer Coaches All-State and All-Region selections for Kosut. UNG head coach Anel Lilic originally discovered Kosut on the club circuit as Kosut was an opponent of Lilic's within the Elite Club National League.
