Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium

Home to the University of North Georgia softball team, Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium was constructed during the fall of 2008 and features a first-class facility for the Nighthawks. With 222 chair back seats and a newly constructed terraced bank down the third base line, fans will enjoy a perfect venue for NCAA softball. The newly constructed Hill Stadium features three separate press boxes for media members that stretch 45 feet. “The Hill” hosted the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 NCAA Southeast Regional and/or Super Regional with a record single-game attendance of 587.

Home to the Nighthawk softball team, "The Hill" is the premier softball facility in NCAA Division II. In the spring of 2020, a state-of-the-art Formetco videoboard was placed in right-center to provide the scoreboard data as well as in-venue entertainment for fans. FieldTurf was installed at the stadium in 2014 as part of a renovation project to the outdoor facilities at UNG, giving the Nighthawks a field to play on regardless of weather conditions. A new Major League quality padded wall was constructed around the entire field after the installation of FieldTurf making the playing surface not only one of the most beautiful in the country, but one of the safest to play on as well.
