DAHLONEGA – University of North Georgia (UNG) men's soccer midfielder Isaac Calderon was named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week after helping the No. 2 Nighthawks remain undefeated with three goals and an assist during the week.

Calderon played a key role in North Georgia's 3-3 draw against Lander, scoring twice and assisting on the Nighthawks' third goal. His first goal of the match came on a bicycle kick that landed at No. 5 on ESPN's SportsCenter Top 10.

Calderon followed that performance by scoring the opening goal in the Nighthawks' 2-0 victory over USC Aiken on Saturday.

Through seven games this season, Calderon is tied for the PBC lead with six goals and leads the conference with 14 points. He is averaging 0.857 goals and 2.00 points per game while also leading the PBC with two game-winning goals.

The Nighthawks remain undefeated on the season and continue Peach Belt Conference play Wednesday as they head to Morrow, Georgia, to face Clayton State.
