DAHLONEGA – University of North Georgia (UNG) men's tennis standout Pedro Liborio has been named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American for the 2025-26 season, the organization announced following the release of its final national rankings.
The ITA awards All-America honors in singles to student-athletes who finish among the top 20 in the final ITA National Singles Rankings. Liborio concluded the season ranked No. 7 nationally, earning one of the highest individual honors in Division II men's tennis.
Competing primarily at the No. 1 singles position, Liborio posted an 8-4 record during the spring season and established himself as one of the top players in the nation. He also earned Peach Belt Conference First Team All-Conference honors in singles after another standout campaign.
Liborio's success began in the fall when he captured the ITA Southeast Regional Singles Championship, becoming one of the region's premier competitors. His strong performances throughout the year propelled him into the national top 10 and secured his first career ITA All-America recognition.
In doubles play, Liborio compiled an 8-5 overall record while partnering with teammates Juan Cruz Blanco and Janos Varga. He went 3-1 alongside Blanco and 5-4 with Varga during the season.
Liborio's All-America honor adds to an impressive season for the Nighthawks, who continued to compete among the nation's top Division II programs throughout the 2025-26 campaign.
