ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Behind an individual title from Mackenzie Connell, the No. 11 University of North Georgia (UNG) women's golf team finished tied for second at the Peach Belt Conference Championship on Tuesday.

North Georgia carded a final-round 307 (+19) to finish with a three-round total of 916 (+52), tying with Lander for second place. Flagler captured the team championship with a score of 910 (+46).

Connell paced the tournament from start to finish, using rounds of 73, 73 and 77 to secure the individual conference title.

Abby Franks led the Nighthawks in the final round with a 2-over 74.

Connell posted a 5-over 77 in the final round, while Cora Mount also turned in a 77 (+5).

Camryn Wright added a 7-over 79, and Ellie Jane Riner rounded out the lineup with an 85.
