Biography

How Connell got to UNG
Mackenzie Connell began her collegiate career with the Nighthawks in 2025 after graduating from Pierce County High School. The Mershon, Ga. native put together an impressive high school career on the links. She was a four-time GHSA Area Champion with Pierce County and three-time Area Low Medalist. She was also a four-time GHSA State Champion and two-time GHSA Low Medalist in 2023 and 2025. Connell learned about UNG through family members and said, "I picked UNG over other schools because of the atmosphere and the amazing golf program they have."
