ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The No. 11 University of North Georgia (UNG) men's golf team closed out the Peach Belt Conference Championship with a fifth-place finish after firing a 3-under 285 in Tuesday's final round.
North Georgia posted a three-round total of 889 (+25), while Georgia Southwestern claimed both the team and individual titles.
Colby Bennett led the Nighthawks individually, finishing fifth overall after carding a 3-under 69 in the final round.
Grant Langford turned in the low round of the day for North Georgia with a 5-under 67, moving into a tie for 13th place overall.
Hunter Smith shot a 1-over 73 in the final round, while Rhett Smith posted a 4-over 76.
Jack Rowe entered the lineup for the Nighthawks in the final round and finished with a 5-over 77, highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 14th hole.
