ST. LOUIS – The No. 11 University of North Georgia (UNG) women's golf team finished fourth after posting a three-round total of 896 at UMSL Spring Invitational.
The Nighthawks carded a final-round 295 to close out the tournament. Grand Valley State won both the team and individual titles with a tournament score of 875.
Cora Mount led the Nighthawks, firing an even-par 71 in the final round to finish at 223.
Mackenzie Connell followed with a 73 (+2) and a 225 total, while Claire Bradford posted a 76 (+5) to finish at 224.
Ellie Jane Riner shot a 75 (+4) and finished at 227, and Abby Franks rounded out the team scoring with a 77 (+6) and a 229 total.
Camryn Wright competed as an individual and shot a 76 (+5) to finish at 223.
Both Mount and Wright finished tied for ninth individually.
North Georgia returns to action April 19-21 in St. Augustine for the Peach Belt Conference Championship.
