DAHLONEGA – University of North Georgia (UNG) women's soccer player Mady Neff has been named this week's Nighthawk of the Week following her performance against Wingate on Wednesday.

In North Georgia's 2-1 win over Wingate, Neff scored her seventh goal of the season, which is tied for most on the team and in the conference. Neff is the only freshman in the Peach Belt's top goal scorers.

The Nighthawk of the Week title sponsor is Chick-fil-A of Dahlonega, with each week's winner receiving a complimentary combo meal at the Dahlonega restaurant. Located at 488 Morrison Moore Parkway East, Chick-fil-A is proud to give back to the local community and serve as a community partner with UNG Athletics.

Beginning in the fall of 2014, UNG Athletics has honored one student-athlete each Monday morning as the Nighthawk of the Week. The award is selected each Sunday evening by a committee made up of members of the UNG Athletics leadership team.

No. 21 North Georgia returns to action Oct. 7, hosting Georgia Southwestern at the UNG Soccer Field in Dahlonega.
