COLUMBUS, Ga. – Greg Billups, Jr. led the University of North Georgia men's basketball team in their 60-55 road Peach Belt Conference win over Columbus State. Billups Jr. finished with a team-high 18 points while grabbing eight rebounds. The Nighthawks battled defensively, holding CSU to just 55 points in the game to supplement their slow-paced offense in the second half.
Frank Champion finished with a double-double scoring 15 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in his 24 minutes of action.
AJ White was third in scoring, finishing with 11 points joining Billups Jr. and Champion in double-digit scoring.
The win moves North Georgia to 13-2 overall, earning a 6-1 record in PBC play.
