MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – A week removed from their first conference loss of the season, the University of North Georgia men's basketball team got back on track and defeated Georgia College 83-71 in its road Peach Belt Conference victory.
Frank Champion was the catalyst for UNG, scoring 23 points and and completing his eighth double-double with 11 rebounds.
Cayden Charles and
Case Roach followed Champion, each scoring a career-high 17 points.
AJ White helped the Nighthawks offensively, finishing with 15 points and adding three assists and two steals.
Greg Billups, Jr. finished second on the team in rebounds, grabbing seven boards.
The win was North Georgia's 11th on the season and moved them to 11-2 overall and 4-1 in Peach Belt Conference play. The Nighthawks have played five straight games away from home, winning four games, three by double-digits.
