DAHLONEGA – After completing a highly competitive fall slate, the University of North Georgia women's golf team will participate in five regular season spring tournaments in four states, continuing to play in some of the top collegiate tournaments in NCAA Division II. The Nighthawks will return to play in three tournaments they appeared in last season.
The spring schedule begins on Feb. 20-21 at the Lady Mocs Classic hosted by Florida Southern at the Grasslands Golf Course in Lakeland, Fla. The following week North Georgia will head to South Carolina to play in the Low Tide Intercollegiate hosted by Limestone at the Dunes West Golf Course in Charleston, S.C.
After a week break, the Nighthawks will compete in their third different state in four weeks when they participate in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at the Sevierville Golf Course in Sevierville, Tenn., hosted by Tennessee Tech. On Mar. 27-28, UNG plays in the Lander Bearcat Spring Invitational at the Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood, S.C., before they return home to Peach State to host the eight-team medal match play Bracket Challenge at the Chimney Oaks Golf Course in Homer, Ga.
North Georgia will finish the regular season and set their sights on the PBC Championship at the Forest Hills Golf Course in Augusta, Ga. on Apr. 21-23 with UNG serving as the championship's official host for the second consecutive year.
UNG will also host the 2023 NCAA Division II Women's Golf South/Southeast Super Regional on May 8-10 at Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville.

"We are extremely eager to kick off this spring season. Although a few of our events remain our usuals, we are excited to add many new ones while maintaining a strong schedule. We always love the opportunity to host here at North Georgia, and events like the UNG Bracket Challenge are always a great experience for our athletes. Along with this new event, we also look forward to hosting the Peach Belt Conference Championship in Augusta and the NCAA South Regional Championship in Gainesville. We hope to see our fans on the road as much as possible!"
