DAHLONEGA - University of North Georgia softball player
Madi Perry was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team Thursday afternoon.
Perry, a junior from Monroe, Georgia, currently sports a 3.89 cumulative grade point average in Kinesiology/Health & Fitness. She is joined on the 14 player team by one other Peach Belt player in Shannon Antonini from Lander.
Perry is the fourth UNG softball player to earn a spot on the Academic All-District Team, while the softball team has put a player on in each of the past three years.
First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in June.
