AMERICUS, Ga. - The University of North Georgia men's basketball team fell Saturday in the Storm Dome to Georgia Southwestern, 69-54.
North Georgia was held to just 18 first half points after the Hurricanes jumped out of the gates on an 11-0 run. GSW led by as many as 18 in the first half, but UNG scored the last five points of the period to trim the lead to 13, 31-18.
The Nighthawks scored the first five points of the second half to cut the lead even further, but the Hurricanes let North Georgia get no closer as they defended the home court.

- GSW was +14 on the glass, including pulling down 13 offensive rebounds and scoring 13 second chance points.
