The Nighthawk women's golf team will hit the road to open the spring season with a trip to Florida Southern for the Lady Mocs Classic at Grasslands Golf and Country Club.

The top ranked team in the opening NCAA Southeast Region rankings can clinch at least a share of the regular season conference crown Wednesday with a win and can win it outright by sweeping its final two games, starting at Augusta before Saturday's regular season finale against USC Aiken.

After two tough losses last week, North Georgia will look to take momentum into the postseason with games against Augusta on the road Wednesday before hosting USC Aiken Saturday.

Four games on the docket for the No. 19 baseball team highlight the week, starting with the first midweek showdown of the season Wednesday against Emmanuel. The weekend series will see Catawba make their first trip to Dahlonega since 2009 for a three game series.

North Georgia will hit the road to Florida for a pair of doubleheaders Wednesday and Thursday against Eckerd and Tamps, respectively. The week finishes with a home twinbill against Bluefield State Sunday afternoon.

The No. 11 Nighthawks will travel again this week as they will take on Queens and Wingate fresh off a seventh place finish at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship last week.

The No. 18 women's tennis team will open Peach Belt play Wednesday against Augusta before heading to North Carolina to battle Queens and Wingate Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
