INDIANAPOLIS - The No. 11 University of North Georgia men's tennis team dropped Saturday's consolation semifinal match to No. 8 Indianapolis, 4-0, at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship.
UIndy earned the doubles point in quick fashion, taking the top and third lines.
Ryan Gaskin and
Cole Brainard were up 4-3 in their match when the doubles point was clinched.
Singles went the same way for the Greyhounds as they won on the third, fourth and sixth lines, each in straight sets to claim the win.
Daniel Ostap was the only Nighthawk to win a set of singles as he led by a set when the match was won by UIndy.
North Georgia will now take on No. 15 Hawai'i Hilo tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. in the seventh place match.
