MORROW, Ga. – The University of North Georgia men's soccer team fell 2-0 in their weekend Peach Belt Conference matchup against Clayton State. Two early goals were enough to doom the Nighthawks, with both Laker goals coming in the 2nd and 3rd minute of the game.
UNG settled in defensively after the two opening goals but could not capitalize on its offensive opportunities.
North Georgia moves 4-6-1 on the season after the loss. The Nighthawks have five regular season games left on the slate.
