DAHLONEGA - The University of North Georgia men's soccer team finished off the spring 2021 season with a 4-0 win over Georgia Southwestern Friday afternoon.
After a scoreless first half, the Nighthawks broke through in the 61st minute as
Santiago Gimenez took a rebound from
Mamadou Diaby's shot to put UNG out in front. North Georgia doubled its lead in the 75th minute as
Donovan Odier curled a shot home.
The goals started pouring in after that as Odier sent a pass across the top of the six yard box to
Victor Galterio who slotted home a goal in the 83rd minute before Diaby scored just 67 seconds later to round out the scoring.
NOTES
- With the win, the Nighthawks kept Georgia Southwestern from making the Peach Belt Conference Tournament as the No. 4 seed, giving Francis Marion the final spot in next week's tournament.

Rafael Callegari earned the clean sheet, making two saves on the day.
- North Georgia finishes the spring season at 3-7, winning each of its last two by scoring 11 goals in that span. UNG lost five one goal matches on the season.
