ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The University of North Georgia men's soccer team fell to Flagler Thursday afternoon, 5-0.
The Saints put up a pair of goals in the first half, starting in the 30th minute with a pass from Jonas Schmitt finished off by Axel Nolgren. Five minutes later, Joran Osland took a free kick and found Jed Bowman for the 2-0 advantage.
Schmitt got Flagler back on the board in the 65th minute on a through ball from Osland, and seven minutes later, Al Cooper headed home the game's fourth goal. Zach Dapaah scored the final goal of the match in the 82nd minute.
NOTES
- Flagler outshot the Nighthawks, 21-6, including a 14-2 advantage in the final 45 minutes.
- The Saints have now won five of the last seven in the series.
